WorldBackups' PM service has been developed from the ground-up to provide backup, storage and archival solutions to our partners. WorldBackups' PM can store any amount of data and make it available from anywhere on the Internet.

WorldBackups' PM service allows partners to drastically reduce their running costs and in doing so to provide online backups to match the rates charged in different sectors. WorldBackups' PM now allows partners to compete easily with the lower cost service providers on the web. PM is most suited for partners that back up more than 130GB per month across their customer base.

How we protect your data

We use non-reversible 448 bit encryption on your backups and encrypt all of your before it leaves your premises. Backup data cannot be decrypted during transmission to our network nor can we access it without the backup password.

Once the data arrives on our network it is stored on our fully redundant and highly available SAN storage platform. Your data is protected by RAID 6 on our SAN and using software replication we replicate your data to another facility.

All live backup data is replicated securely to our 2nd facility to maintain durability.

Handling initial large backups or disaster recovery

WorldBackups' PM allows the partner to securely copy encrypted data on a customer’s server to portable media. The media can be sent via courier and synced directly with our network at one of our facilities. This service is essential where large amounts of backed up data or data to be restored cannot be transmitted quickly enough over the Internet.

Partners pre-purchase quotas of data storage on one of our SANs. The minimum sized quota is 300GB and is priced at £90 per month. Quotas can be extended by a minimum of 100GB at any time.
